There will be a church business meeting on Sunday, March 10, at 3:00 pm.  The main topic will be approval for the budget for 2019.

Our church team will be playing against the Kings Church this Saturday evening at 7:15 pm.  The game will be at the Charles Gorman Arena in Saint John.  

Each year, the North American Division (NAD) designates the second Sabbath in February as Health Sabbath.  This is an opportunity for us to focus on the importance of good health and how the health work enhances the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Thank you to all who volunteered their time at the soup kitchen on February 3!   A children’s group in the community wants to volunteer this month. They’ll be taking our spot on February 17, so our next date with Romero House will be March 17.

Come out to the Charles Gorman Arena in Saint John this Saturday night and cheer on our district church team!  They’ll be playing against the Portland United Church in a friendly match.  The game starts at 9:45 pm.    

Our sister church in Saint John begins their afternoon services this Sabbath.  They will start with a potluck at 1 pm, then transition into worship at 2:15 pm.  This means that you have options for Sabbath services, or even go to both morning and afternoon services for a full day of worship.    

Due to a bad winter storm in January, we swapped our appointment at the Romero House Soup Kitchen with another group who was able to be there.  We’ll be taking their place at the soup kitchen on Brunswick Street in Saint John this Sunday (February 3).  We’ll be there from 9 am – 1 pm. …

Bring a hot chocolate to the Gorman Arena in Millidgeville on Saturday evening (February 2) and watch our team play against Kings Way Assembly at 9:45 pm.    

UPDATE:  This game has been canceled due to a mechanical failure at the Gorman Arena.   Cheer on our church hockey team Saturday evening at the Charles Gorman Arena in Millidgeville.  They’ll be playing against the Outreach Pentecostal Church at 8:30 pm.

December was a busy, happening month for our church.  The giving and generosity for our Christmas food drive was amazing.  The week before Christmas, we delivered food boxes to 15 families and individuals, and 10 cheer baskets to our seniors and shut-ins.  This represented a Christmas blessing to 35 adults and 18 children.
